Riiiiide, Sally Ride

The 5th grade Famous American Report was due for Bells yesterday.

She got to study, learn and dress as Sally Ride and then present to the class.

We copied and printed NASA patches from the internet onto paper

and then STAPLED them to this shirt.

Who needs a sewing machine! 

We thought long and hard about what type of "parting gift" we could give the class when she was done with her presentation.

After scanning the aisles at Walgreen's and then Target, we found it.

Orbit gum. Perfect.

Last minute trips to Target never disappoint.

Nor do Daddy's printing abilities.

Bella was able to easily memorize 98% of her report.  

A gift she has that I may have had when I was her age, I don't remember.

Her teacher said she did soooooo awesome.
