Off we went.
The Birthday Girl loved her $12.99 ukelele purchased from the local grocery store at 10pm the night before.

This is Maui Part one.
Destination: Maui. Renting a jeep, arriving at our hotel, a walk on the beach,sand, palm trees, snorkeling, a luau,fruity drinks, Emma turning 9,spending her birthday on The road to Hana, coconut juice, banana bread, going as far as the black sand beach. Family time. The smiles were endless.
